Basic Rosary Congress

To hold a Basic Rosary Congress, you need to include:

1. An Opening Mass

2. An adoration schedule for the 7 days and 7 nights of perpetual adoration. A rosary is     prayed at the beginning of each hour using the prayers in the Rosary Binder (available on the Resources page).

3- A Closing Mass

For a Basic Rosary Congress, as few as two people could coordinate it: one person to organize the Opening and Closing Masses and one person to organize the adoration schedule, using the assistance of shift captains. (See note below.)

Note: Providing the Rosary Binder for each of the 4 sets of mysteries (available in the Resources page) with the order of the prayers will ensure your adoration hours run smoothly and systematically, providing about 30 minutes of vocal prayer for all to unite and about 30 minutes of personal, silent prayer. Meditations for each mystery were written by a member of the The Order of the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

Forms for the Rosary Congress

Many of the resources you will need are available on the Resources page.  You will find a timeline, information to assign adoration hours to shift captains, and scheduling forms to coordinate the Rosary Congress.
